In the Espinosa Lab, our unifying research goal is to understand how gene networks control cell behavior and impact health and disease. We focus our efforts on cancer and Down syndrome, but our discoveries often lead us into other areas of biology, such as COVID-19.

Our team is multidisciplinary, operating across the translational research spectrum, from basic sciences to mouse models to clinical trials.
